Chalk paint

Here at Ruby&D we are proud to have been handpicked by Annie Sloan herself to be a stockist of her Chalk paint and accessories.

Annie Sloan developed the range back in 1990 and chose the name chalk paint due to it’s matt almost chalky finish. Developed for furniture, floors and walls it adheres to almost any surface and requires no preparation beforehand. The paint can be used both indoors and outdoors and creates gorgeous results quickly and easily.

A uniquely versatile paint that can be used to achieve a variety of different finishes. Use to create a textured finish, a contemporary smooth finish or a wash to name but a few.

Chalk Paint is a non toxic water based paint that is lead free and has very low volatile organic compounds (voc’s) With a range of 33 standard colours all carefully chosen by Annie Sloan herself with inspiration coming from historic European cities and landscapes. All colours can be mixed to extend the range and can be finished with a clear wax or given an antiqued look with dark wax.

By experimenting with the paints and waxes you can quickly and easily transform a dull brown piece into something amazing, all you need is imagination!
